The Panola College Women's Basketball team put together a solid game Wednesday, March 4th at the Region XIV Conference tournament at Lon Morris Junior College in Jacksonville, TX but finished the season off with a loss against defending NJCAA National Champion and #1 seed in the conference Trinity Valley Community College.

Williams with (18) and Barry-Wallace with (11) ended up being the only two Fillies in double digit figures in the game. The Fillies started off the the game with with a lot of intensity having 9 lead changes and out rebounding the Lady Cardinals offensively by three in the first half with the Fillies down 28-35 at the half. But after starting off slow to start the second half, the Fillies battled hard to catch up but it was not enough to slow down the #3 ranked team in the country and the Fillies fell short 58-78.

The Fillies finished the year in Region XIV with an overall record of 14-16 and a conference record of 7-13.
