Gas prices continue their upward trend again this week as Gasbuddy.com says the nation-wide average for a gallon of regular is $2.46, a 12-cent increase in the past week.
That price is still a buck cheaper than a year ago.
In Texas, its $2.24, up six seven cents this week; Louisiana is up to $2.23, a seven cent hike in a week.
Locally, the lowest in Center this morning is $2.19 at Walmart, unchanged in the past week. However, some prices have seen close to double-digit rise this week.
