Garrison Funeral Home announces a memorial service for 79-year old Lola Jordan Harris of Garrison. She passed away Monday. A memorial graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Union Freewill Baptist Church in Garrison, with interment at Helpenstell Cemetery in Nacogdoches County. She was U.S. Postal Service retiree. Among Lola Jordan Harris’ survivors are children, Mona Hair of Houston, Callie Crawford of North Carolina, Chester Harris of Atlanta, Sharon Harris of Idaho, Susan Harris of Texarkana, Thomas Harris of Garrison and Albert “Ken” Harris of Frierson, La.; sister, Martha Vann of Leesville, La.; and brothers, Paul Jordan and Phillip Jordan, both of Nacogdoches.
