Center Broadcasting has been able to confirm that that the woman struck by a vehicle on Tenaha Street near the Dollar General Store around 7 p.m. last night has died.

No name has been released by law enforcement, but we have received information the 63-year old woman passed away at Center Emergency Department.

According to reports, the woman walked out in front of a Ford Explorer and the driver was not able to stop in time.
