An 18-wheeler has overturned on Hwy. 59 north of Tenaha around 11:50 a.m. and has both northbound lanes blocked, therefore traffic is backed up.

According to scanner traffic, the driver is out of the wreckage, but is requesting emergency treatment.

According to witnesses, the driver apparently ran off the roadway to right, over-corrected, causing the 18-wheeler to overturn.

The rig was not carrying any hazardous material. It's reported to be a cargo box trailer.
