Mangum Funeral Home announces service for Mrs. Flo Wilburn of Center. She passed away Friday in Nacogdoches. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be prior to service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Flo Wilburn’s survivors is a son, Silas Wilburn of Center; daughter, Linda McKenzie of Florida; brother, Lynn & Dianne Turner of Center; sister, Belle Turner & Thomas Walker of Florida; and sisters-in-law, Della Tuner of Angleton, Lois Turner of Clute and Nancy Turner.

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 76-year Kenneth Charles Smith of San Augustine. He passed away Thursday in San Augustine. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday morning just prior to service. Among Kenneth Charles Smith’s survivors are his children, Dawn Rene & Donald Stoner of Wyoming, Robert Smith, Casey Smith and Klondie Smith; and step-son, Stacy & Cindy Canchola of Wyoming.

We have learned of the death of former long-time Center Broadcasting Co. employee Gene Fields. He passed away Friday in Brazil. We’ll have more information as it becomes available, in addition to survivors for Gene Fields.
