Yesterday's NWS Winter Watch area was mostly along the IH30 corridor with some impact South of that line. Today's forecast movement is now much deeper into our area with the focus along the IH20 corridor and North into OK, ARK, LA for the heavier accumulations.
Significant Gulf moisture is colliding with the Arctic air and the NWS has issued a Winter Weather Warning that extends further South into an area from the San Antonio/Austin area to just north of Houston to Cleveland to the Alexandria, La area.
The timing....rain until the evening hours today. Changes to a wintry mix from 9:00 pm today until 6:00 pm on Monday. Our high today is forecast to be only slightly warmer than our current 44.3 degrees.
