Willie Hudson sentenced to 6-months in Nacogdoches County Jail for violating probation

Nacogdoches business owner and Center native, 60-year old Willie Hudson was sentenced to six months in the Nacogdoches County jail, followed by “intensive supervision” for violating the terms of his deferred probation.

420th Judicial District Judge Ed Klein delivered the sentence yesterday during a hearing to revoke his probation from an Oct. 2014 guilty plea on a charge of unlawful restraint.

Hudson was arrested in December on allegation he violated several terms of his probation, including multiple contacts with Nacogdoches PD and failure to perform eight hours of community service.

Hudson’s fine was increased by $2,000 and extended his probation for two years. He was also ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation, complete an anger-management class and receive cognitive behavioral counseling.

Hudson owns Nacogdoches Hardware and Rental, and was represented by his half-brother, Center attorney, Stephen Shires.
