Hicks Mortuary in Center announces service for 93-year old Mr. Lane (LB) Bernard Horton of Center, the late twin brother of Mr. Hatcher Bernard Horton. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Center, with burial at Mt. Gillion Cemetery, Shelby County. Repass will be at the John D. Windham Civic Center. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Among LB Horton’s survivors is a daughter, Earlene Malone of San Augustine; daughter-in-law, Joyce Horton of Center; brother, Milton & Carrie Horton of Timpson; and sister, Thelma Henderson of Center.
