Timpson Bear Update 02/11/15 Pt. 2

THS Seniors Receive Acceptance Letters - Timpson High School  seniors are excited about their educational plans following high school graduation. Many seniors have received their letters of acceptance to college. The following students have received their letter of acceptance and have chosen their course of study that they will pursue.

Timpson High School Bass Club -  This past Saturday the Shelby County Jr. Bass Anglers fished their second Southeast Texas tournament. Three hundred and seventy six teams participated in the tournament. Two out of the three teams from Timpson placed in the top 30! Chandler Burgay and James Marshall placed 15th and Holly Hughes and Molly Sanford placed 27th! Two other teams from SCJrBA placed in the top 15! All of these teams won scholarship money and remain in the hunt for a Regional championship berth.  Students must finish in the top 10 in the overall point standings by the end of the tournament season in May. Currently Holly and Molly are 14th overall and Chandler and James are 21st! Timpson High School Bass Club sponsor Tracy Rucker said he could not be more proud of these students!


Yearbook News - ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS: Timpson High School yearbook advisor Mrs. Danielle Smith requests that each senior needs to bring a baby picture and quote to Mrs. Danielle Smith as soon as possible to be included in the yearbook.
The yearbook staff is working to make the seniors’ last THS yearbook a special one.
