Cecil Parks to address incident with Timpson Police Chief, Kent Graham.
Owner, Roy Hutto with Hutto Wrecker Service, to discuss wrecker rotation within the City of Timpson.

B. Police Department: Kent Graham
C. Municipal Court: Reported for the month of January 2014, 51 citations issued, 57 violations, 1 citation to a minor, 0 citations to a juvenile. Total amount reported $18,294.69 for the Police Department and Court, the city’s portion a (55% Estimate) $10,062.08 .
D. City Secretary: The council might want to consider hiring an outside election judge and clerk for early voting clerk to conduct the May 9, 2015 General Election and early voting starting April 27- May 5, 2015. Ms. Charlotte Broadway and Paula Mullins have requested not to help assist with the early voting.
Last day to turn in an application for a place on the ballot for the General Election, May 9, 2015.
10. Consent Agenda: Items A thru C included under the Consent Agenda require little or no
Deliberation by the Council. Approval of the Consent Agenda authorizes the
City Secretary to proceed with the conclusion of each item as reflected in the
Minutes of this meeting.
A. Consider approval of the minutes from the Regular Meeting from Jan. 20, 2015
B. Consider approval of Financial Statement for the month of January, 2015
C. Consider approval of Accounts Payable for the month of February, 2015
REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS ( 11–20)
11. Discuss and take action: 2014-2015 Budget (all dept.): Review the proposed budget changes and possibly adopt Ordinance 01202015-02 to Amend FY 2014- 2015 Budget for the City of Timpson.
12. Discuss and take action: Reduction in Force of Timpson Police Department
13. Discuss and take action: Timpson PD Policy Change: Work hours and OT policy (under 5 officers)
14. Discuss and take action: Timpson PD Policy Change: Call Out hours and pay for call out
15. Discuss and take action: Timpson PD Policy Change: Garaging of City Vehicles- Officers “on call” use of City Vehicles.
16. Discuss and possibly take action: Open and possibly award Bid for trimming/cutting down trees in the Electric Line Right-of-Way. All Request Bids
were submitted by February 13th.
17. Discuss and possibly take action: Resolution for the CDBG Block Grant Application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for The Community Development Fund; and authorizing the Mayor to act as the City’s Executive officer and authorized representative in all matters pertaining to the city’s participation in the Texas Community Development Block Grant program for the 2015-2016 funding cycle.
18. Discuss and possibly take action: Order of Notice, General Election to be held on May 9, 2015 to elect three City Council Members.
19. Discuss and possibly take action: Interlocal Agreement between TISD and the City of Timpson to hold a General Election May 9, 2015.
20. Discuss and possibly take action: Accept Resignation of Barbara Hunt as of April 30, 2015.
21. Discuss and possibly take action: Advertise and take applications for the position City Secretary. Applications must be turned into the City Hall by March 10, 2015.
22. Discuss and possibly take action: Schedule a Special meeting to possibly interview applicants for the City Secretary position.
23. Discuss and possibly take action: Hire an election Judge and clerk for the upcoming General Election Early voting period, April 27 thru May 5, 2015 and the May 9, 2015, General Election.
24. Adjourn:
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
