Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas will have a Youth Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Windham Civic Center.

The free event is for 18 to 21 year olds, and includes employment opportunities, connection with local businesses and organizations, plus, in addition to resume' and application assistance.

Confirmed employers attending the career fair are Tyson Foods, Portacool, Jennings Place, Burke's Outlet, Job Corp, the U.S. Navy, Advanced Temporaries, and E-Tech.

In addition to Tri-County Community Action, Pine Grove Nursing Home, Panola College, Green Acres Nursing Home and the City of Center.

Career Awareness attendees are The Texas Department of Criminal Justice, ACE EMS, Center Fire Department, U.S. Marshal's, Deep East Texas Child Care Agency, Our Town Times newspaper and the Foxxhole Restaurant.

Organizers say there will be door prizes given every 15 minutes.
