The identity of the shooting victim in Carthage Sunday night has been identified as 57-year old Rayford Earl Miller of Carthage.

Arrested and charged with murder was 43-year old John Guy Tucker of Houston.

The incident took place in the 300 block of South Cook Street in Carthage. Miller’s body was found on the front porch of the residence.
