DETCOG recently recognized Shelby County Judge Rick Campbell for his eight years of service on the Board of Directors of the Deep East Texas Council of Governments.

During his tenure Judge Campbell served on DETCOG’s Economic Development Committee, the Deep East Texas Rural Transportation Planning Organization and was a member of the Texas Emergency Communications Commission in Austin which oversees the state’s handling of the 9-1-1 programs.
