Hudson arrested for supposedly violating terms of probation

A Nacogdoches businessman and Center native who was sentenced to five years deferred probation just over two months ago was arrested last Saturday for allegedly violating terms of that probation agreement.

According to the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel, 60-year old Willie Hudson, the owner of Nacogdoches Hardware and Rental, supposedly contacted Nacogdoches Police by phone and in person on five separate occasions from Oct. 17 to Dec. 2 concerning matters from no-parking signs to alleging his probation officer slandered him, to not performing at least eight hours of community service in November.

In October, Hudson pleaded guilty to unlawful restraint. The newspaper said Hudson remained in jail as of late Monday.
