A home in western Shelby County was destroyed by fire that’s believed to have been caused by an electrical issue Friday morning. 

According to scanner traffic, a passerby on County Road 1211 at Aiken reported the fire around 10:30 a.m. 

West Shelby County Volunteer Fire Dept. personnel responded to find the mobile home destroyed. 

It’s reported the home belonged to Vicky Campbell, who was staying with relatives.
