Newly elected officials in Shelby and San Augustine Counties will be sworn-in during ceremonies Friday morning.
Shelby County’s swearing-in will take place at 9 a.m. Friday in the community room of the Shelby County Courthouse as 273rd District Judge Charles Mitchell will be giving the oath to 12 county officials. A reception will follow.
The San Augustine swearing-in will be at 9 a.m. in the San Augustine County Courtroom as 11 county officials will receive the oath of office.
