Another holiday-shortened work week for most governmental entities as employees observe New Year’s.

The Shelby County Courthouse and offices will be closed Thursday, New Year’s Day only, while the county clerk’s office will close early Wednesday in order to made changes.

The San Augustine County Courthouse will be closed New Year’s Eve, Wednesday and remained closed through Thursday, New Year’s Day.

Banks, federal and state offices and all municipalities will be closed Thursday, New Year’s Day.
