The City of Timpson’s water supply has been interrupted as city crews work to repair a broken fire hydrant. According to Mayor Debra Smith, the hydrant, located along Railroad Avenue, about a block from city hall, was struck by a vehicle. Mayor Smith says it could be mid to late morning before the repair is complete. Therefore, Timpson ISD schools will not start until 10 a.m. today, Wednesday.
