The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a Shelbyville man whose body was discovered at his residence Saturday morning.

In a press release issued yesterday, the sheriff’s office received a call around 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning concerning a person believed to be deceased.

Deputies along with EMS responded to the call and arrived to find the body of 27-year old Matthew Trevino.

Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 Margie Anderson ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Investigator DJ Dickerson told us Monday afternoon he was waiting the results of the autopsy and had no information at this time.
