Center Garden Club recently held a National Garden Club poster contest
where several of Center Elementary students placed, advancing their posters
to the national level.   The students were asked to depict their interpretation of Woodsy Owl or Smokey the Bear's environmental messages, helping to share information to others on how to help keep our land beautiful.   A special thank you goes to Center Elementary G/T and Fine Arts teacher, Mrs. Inez Hughes!

The first grade students that placed were:  1st, Hope Nehring, 2nd, Avery Lawrence, and 3rd, Nathan Cole. 

The second grade students that placed were:  1st, Holden Stone, 2nd, Daisy Moreno, and 3rd, Gracie Boyd.

The third grade students that placed were:  1st, Kevin Morin, 2nd, Ava Flores, and 3rd, Sayre Hall.
