The First United Methodist Church of Center will present its annual Sacred Sounds of the Season program, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 in the church sanctuary.

 

There will be a variety of talented musicians and singers from around the county.

 

Jim Green and Ann Harmon will display their considerable talents with piano solos, the Excelsior Eighth Grade Hand Bell Choir will ring hand bells, a skill Alice Sue Howard teaches them in music class.

 

Mt. Zion Youth Choir will sing what promises to be soul stirring Emmanuel and Michelle and Sedarian Weatherford will sing a beautiful duet to Mary Did You Know.

 

You will also hear the beautiful soloist voice of Leigh Porterfield and a presentation by Chris Watlington as only he can perform.

 

The First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir will also sing two songs from their upcoming cantata that will be sure to get you in the Christmas spirit and prepare us for the upcoming season as we celebrate the birth of Christ.
