With many cold days and nights still ahead this season and a number of children having to bare the outside elements without a warm coat, Gaddy's Medical Equipment & Supply in Center and Center Broadcasting are teaming up to sponsor a coat drive for local children.

Donations of new or gently used children's coats are being accepted at Gaddy's Medical Equipment & Supply on Hurst Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Monday thru Friday.

Chuck Gaddy and Amanda Bush tell us they've received a number of requests for children's coats, and wanted to do their part in helping with the cause.

If you're children are in need of a free coat, you're encouraged to stop by Gaddy's Medical Equipment & Supply in Center, give the ladies  your name, and your children will be outfitted as supplies are met.
