In observance of Pearl Harbor Day, this Sunday, Dec. 7, the Shelby County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8904 and the Ladies Auxiliary will dedicate a new flag pole at the home of Mr. Glenn Prince. Mr. Prince served in the US. Navy during WWII and is the only known living “Pear Harbor Survivor” in Shelby County. The dedication will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at Mr. Prince’s residence, 12019 Hwy. 7 East, Joaquin. The public is cordially invited.
