The annual Joaquin Christmas Festival will be held tomorrow in downtown Joaquin. As part of activities the East Texas Chopper Guys Toy Run & Food Drive is being held, with donations of toys, canned goods and cash going to Joaquin Christian Services. Nancy Stevens heads up publicity for the event and says there’s plenty of family fun. This includes several rides and activities for the kids.

Ms. Stevens adds she’s been able to obtain some real nice raffle and auction items from sponsors, which starts after the parade. Entry fee for the car, motorcycle and tractor show is $10, with sign up at 10 a.m. There will also be a cake walk.
