Shelby County Chamber Ambassadors holding re-location ribbon cutting for Here's the Deal today, others scheduled next week, including Goodwill of East Texas on Dec. 5

The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them for a re-location ribbon cutting for Here's the Deal at 3 p.m. this afternoon at 1455 Southview Circle in Center. Sandy Mahan is the owner of Here's the Deal, which is a resale shop offering unique, gently-used items at a discount price.

 

The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will join owners Roderick and Lisa Jones for a first year anniversary ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 4 at Back Country Furniture Designs, 401 Hurst St. in Center.

 

Also, the chamber ambassadors invite the public to join them for a grand opening ribbon cutting as they welcome Goodwill of East Texas to Center at their new location in the former Wal-mart building at 1233 Tenaha St. in Center. The ribbon cutting will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5

 

Donations to Goodwill may be made in a convenient drive around drop off in the rear of the store. During donation hours, an attendant will be available to assist in unloading of vehicles and providing a tax donation receipt. Goodwill accepts “gently” used clothing, shoes, bedding, electronics, houseware, working televisions and small appliances. Donations to Goodwill make a significant difference in the lives of individuals living in the Shelby County area. Revenue generated from donations helps support and grow programs and services that result in significant social impact for the communities of Shelby County.
