Funeral Notices: 11/13/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces graveside service for 55-year old Freddie Earl Pope of Center. He passed away Tuesday in Center. Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Blackjack Cemetery in Nacogdoches County. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside service beginning at 10 a.m. Among Freddie Pope's survivors are sons, John & Angela Pope, Jeremy & Tiffany Pope, and Josh Long, all of Center; special friend and wife, Rebecca Lynn Pope; sisters, Bonita Pope of New Caney and Juanita Pope of Nacogdoches; and brothers, Donald Witt & Ronald Witt, both of Splendora. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Watson & Sons Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.

Community Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 86-year old Mrs. Lula Mae Wilson Martin of Timpson. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Timpson, with interment at Smyrna Cemetery. A Wake will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Timpson.

 

Hicks Mortuary of Center announces pending service for 67-year old Mrs. Jacquelin Faye Richards of Galena Park, formerly of Tenaha.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at East Liberty Baptist Church, with interment at Thompson Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at East Liberty Baptist Church.

 

Garner & Son Mortuary of San Augustine announces service for 59-year old Mr. Elgia Blount of Hemphill. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Knox Chapel in Hemphill, with interment at Lane Town Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to service time Saturday at Knox Chapel.
