Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at East Liberty Baptist Church, with interment at Thompson Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at East Liberty Baptist Church. Among Lawrence James Garrett's survivors is his wife, Jo Ethel Garret of Center; sons, Gregory & Lisa Garrett of Hewitt and Donald & Angelia Garrett of Mansfield, Texas; daughter, Tammie & Brian Marshall of Port Arthur and Tracy Johnson of Lufkin; brothers, Sammy Garrett of San Augustine and Willie & Ella Garrett of Brazoria; and sister, Linda Carter of Houston.
