Funeral Notices: 11/10/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 78-year old Faye Myers May of Logansport. She passed away Friday at her residence. Service will be at 11 a.m. this morning at the First Baptist Church in Logansport, with interment in the O.E. Price Memorial Cemetery in Logansport. Among Faye Myers May’s survivors is daughters, Vicki May & Coy Hassell of Wyoming and Karen May & Dennis Matthews of Logansport; sister, Gail Myers of West Monroe, La.; and brother, Chrles Myers of Pineville, La. Memorial donations may be made to the Matthews-Wiggins Scholarship Fund or to the First Baptist Church in Logansport.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 83-year old Billy Ray Fults of Center. He passed away Saturday at his residence. Service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. He retired from Bruce Hardwood Floors where he was a supervisor for many years. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. Among Billy Ray Fults’ survivors is his wife, Belle Fults of Center; children, Lecia Holt & Ricky Chandler of Joaquin, Billy Michael & Liz Fults of Joaquin, and Norissa & Grady Mays of Weatherford; sisters, Juanita Harkness of Nacogdoches; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Leither & Mervil Crawford of Center, Minnie & Doyle Amidon of Chireno and Joyce Ann Lowe of Palestine.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces graveside service for 57-year old Cynthia Saxton of Garrison. She passed away Saturday at her residence. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at Garrison Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at Cold Spring Cemetery, Garrison. Among Cynthia Saxton’s survivors is her husband, Billy Floyd Saxton of Garrison; mother, Ruby Lou Yarbrough of Garrison; brothers, Thomas T. & Linda Yarbrough of Nacogdoches and Bill Yarbrough of Nacogdoches; and step-son, Bobby Saxton of Huntsville.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 91-year old Mrs. Mary Marie (Fussell) Nichols of San Augustine. She passed away Saturday at Colonial Pines Nursing Home in San Augustine. She worked as a nurse many years in Nacogdoches. Service will be at 2 p.m. today at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Shiloh Cemetery in the Denning Community, San Augustine County. Among Mary Marie (Fussell) Nichols’ survivors are sons, Varnal & Sarah Nichols of San Augustine and William Lee (Bill) & Betty Nichols of Buna.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 86-year old Mrs. Jerry Evon Polk of Broaddus. She passed away Thursday. Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Broaddus. The family chose cremation following the service. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Wyman Roberts. Among Mrs. Jerry Evon Polk’s survivors are, sons, Ted Polk and Joe M. Polk, both of Broaddus; and daughter, Linda Krause of Huntsville.
