The Timpson ISD and Timpson American Legion Post 90 are sponsoring the Timpson Veterans' Day Celebration at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Timpson High School Gymnasium. All veterans, families and friends are invited.

Joaquin ISD Veterans’ Day Program will be held Tuesday, November 11 in the JHS Gymnasium starting at 9:00am. You’re asked to please contact Wanda Scruggs at 269-3127, (ext. 423 ) by Friday, November 7th if you plan to attend the program. All veterans and their families will be honored with a breakfast in the JHS Library following the program.

Tenaha Schools invites all veterans and military personnel from all branches of the military to join them for their Veterans’ Day Program on Tuesday, November 11, at 9:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria. The program is being sponsored by the Tenaha High School BETA and Jr. BETA Clubs. Military family members and community members are invited. Refreshments will be served after the program.

Panola College is hosting its second annual Veterans Day Dinner at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11 in the Ballroom of the Phoebe Sue Perlman Student Center. The dinner is free to all area veterans. Honorary speaker is Colonel Ron Franks. All veterans are invited to bring a guest. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with limited seating. You’re asked to RSVP by calling Ruth Brooks at 903-693-1183.
