Today is General Election Day...Polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. GO VOTE!!

Today is General Election Day as polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters will be casting ballots on a number of state-wide races, including governor and lt. governor.
 
In Shelby and San Augustine Counties, voting is being done for the 273rd District Judge. This election also includes Sabine County voters.
 
Shelby County voters in County Commissioner Pct. 2 will elected a commissioner, and in JP Precincts 1, 2 & 5. While voters in the Center ISD are electing four trustees, and the City of Center Council Position 2 voting in taking place for a councilman.
 
San Augustine County voters are selecting a new county judge, San Augustine ISD is voting on four trustees and the City of San Augustine will be electing five alderman.
 

Remember, you must have a valid photo ID in order to vote.

 

Center Broadcasting has posted the voting locations for today's election in both Shelby and San Augustine Counties on the front page of our website, cbc-radio.com.

 

We'll join with the Texas State Network to give election coverage starting at 7 p.m. this evening on KDET and online at cbc-radio.com.
