San Augustine County races on Nov. 4 ballot

In San Augustine County, voters will decide on the following local challenged races: 273rd District Judge, county judge with incumbent Democrat Samye Johnson challenged by former judge and Republican Randy Williams, four San Augustine ISD Trustees, and five City of San Augustine Alderman spots.

 

In addition, State Senator Dist. 3, incumbent Republican Robert Nichols and Libertarian challenger, J. Tyler Lindsey; for 273rd District Judge, Democrat incumbent Charles R. Mitchell is challenged by Republican Louie Des Champs;

 

There are four positions on the San Augustine ISD Board up for election, as Trustee Post. 3 includes Patricia McClure and incumbent Ryan Garcia; Trustee Post. 4 has incumbent Edwin Henley, Henry Lee Garner and David Garner; Trustee Post. 5 sees incumbent Orvin Garrett, challenged by Loretta Bedford and Dennis Barnes; and in Trustee Post. 6 race, its Steven Standley and incumbent Charles Boyette.

 

All 5 city of San Augustine alderman spots are on the ballot, as #1 has Alanna Borders and incumbent Valencia Price; #2 pits Jim Blackwell and incumbent Pamela Nickleberry Teel; #3 with incumbent Mike Malone and Stacy "Jack" Watts; #4 has Rodney "Rod" Litton and incumbent Joe Verhalen; and Alderman #5, incumbent Claudia Cabriales, Dan Fussell and Dr. John Alexander.
