Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 77-year old Marcelle Stone Smith of Shelbyville. She passed away Thursday at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Center. Graveside will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carroll Cemetery in Shelbyville. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside service beginning at 12:30 p.m. Among Marcelle Stone Smith’s survivors are sons, Sammie Stephen & Edie Smith of Huxley and Larry Reed & Connie Smith of Huxley; daughter, Rhonda Lynn Smith of Huxley

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 78-year old Mauddie Ann "Doodle" Gilchrist of Center. She passed away Wednesday in Nacogdoches. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Old Salem Cemetery. Among Mauddie Ann "Doodle" Gilchrist's survivors are sons, Rickey & Teresa Gilchrist, and David & Angie Gilchrist, all of Center; brother-in-law, Fred Johnson of Center; sister-in-law, and Dorothy Faucet of Center.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a memorial service for 54-year old Dale Harding of Center. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in San Augustine.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 94-year old Pearline Andrews Windham of Center. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to service, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces a graveside burial service for 63-year old Elizabeth Ann Ross of New Orleans, formerly of Center. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Center.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces service for 84-year old Norman Fletcher of Broaddus. He passed away Wednesday. He was U.S. Air Force retired. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Broaddus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at Wyman Roberts. Among Norman Fletcher’s survivors is wife, Dorothy Fletcher of Broaddus; daughters, Barbara & Cecil Martin of Broaddus, Joyce and Jim Chesson of Deer Park, Margaret & Randal Robertson of Houston; and son, Wayne Fletcher of Houston.

Zion CME Church & Eddie Rush Goodwin’s residence. Visitation will be all day today at Hicks’ Chapel.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Triumph First Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville, with interment at Lane Town Cemetery in San Augustine.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Reed Chapel Baptist Church in San Augustine, with interment at Corinth Cemetery, San Augustine. A Wake will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. this evening at the church.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Union Grove Baptist Church in San Augustine, with interment at Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation and wake will be held from 12:30 to 9 p.m. today at Garner & Son Chapel. Among Elnora Lacy “Buck” Mackey’s survivors are sons, Robert & Jacqueline Mackey of Dallas, James Robert Mackey, Tommy Lacy, and Michael Anthony Lacy, all of San Augustine; daughters, Azzie Elnora & Rev. Henry Brown of Troup, and Azzie Lee & Wayne Porter of San Augustine; brothers, Willie & Mary Lacy of Houston, O.V. & Carolyn Lacy of San Augustine, and T.C. Lacy of San Augustine; and sister, Tillie B. Lee of Fort Worth.
