The Center City Council has a regular meeting at 5 p.m. this afternoon and among the agenda items for discussion and possible action will be a resolution authorizing modification of approved airport layout plan and execution of hangar lease agreement in conformance to the modified plan.

City Manager Chad Nehring said that FAA & TxDOT require all airport activities and land use conform to the approved plan. He said with continued development and size needs of private hangar space continuing to develop at Center Municipal Airport this is just a formality to approve.

In addition, the council will consider a street closure request for the lighted Christmas parade on Dec. 6.

Nehring will also present the annual cash and investment report; advise council of the Halloween in the Hole event at the city baseball park Tuesday; and advise council on the recent presentation Texas DPS to Center PD Sgt. Duane Gordon.
