Last Saturday, eight members of the Timpson Youth Advisory Council volunteered their service to the Timpson community by helping with the Mobil Food Bank at Woodland Christian Church.

The Youth Advisory Council’s primary responsibility was to carry boxes of food items to the vehicles of those who received help from the Mobile Food Bank. When asked, “What did you get out of this volunteer experience?” Chase Lilly replied: “The food drive was an awesome experience for the Youth Advisory Council. We got a chance to experience the satisfaction of knowing we can make a difference in the community.”

Council Advisor is Mr. Vernett Richardson. Members participating were Marc Carroll, Chase Lilly, Brandon Addison, Sonny Burns, Kamarious Johnson, Trevor Duke, Connor Timmons, and Payton “Bill” Belrose.
