Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces the passing of 95-year old Jeanne Marcelle Henry in Houston. Among her survivors is son, William Hendrick Henry and wife Ginny and John Robert Henry and wife Debbie.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 86-year old Pearl Mae Taylor Coon Burgay of Center. She passed away Wednesday in Nacogdoches. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Neuville Cemetery in Shelby County. Among Pearl Mae Taylor Coon Burgay’s survivors are sons, Roger Coon and wife, Janice of Joplin, Missouri, William Coon of Gilmer and Barney Coon of League City; and step-son, Johnny Burgay of Center.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 75-year old Roy Gene Walker of Monroe, La., formerly of Joaquin. He passed away Monday in Monroe. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Joaquin, with military honors given by VFW Post #8904. Visitation will be today prior to service starting at noon until 1:30 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Roy Gene Walker’s survivors is his wife, Ethel Mae Walker of Monroe; children, Glenn Walker & wife, Ann of Rayville, La., and Ricky Walker and wife, Tina, Tonya Walker Frost, and Todd Walker, all of Monroe; sisters, Lillian Wallace of Center, Mary Anderson and husband, Tim of Center; brother, Paul Walker and wife, Brenda of Stanley, La., and mother of his children, Jane Phillip Walker.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 65-year old Lee Elma Jenkins of Center. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Triumph Kingdom of God in Christ Church in Center, with burial at Westview Cemetery in Center. The wake will be from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at Mangum Funeral Home.

 

Taylor Funeral Home announces service for 95-year old Cleona Bonner Crump Laviolette of Timpson. She passed away Tuesday at her home. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, with interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church beginning at 1 p.m. and going until service time. Among Cleona Bonner Crump Laviolette survivors are sons, Bruce & Bonnie Crump of Kilgore and Bernard Crump of Lufkin; daughters, Nelda & Tommy Robison of Center, Betty Hairgrove and Valeta & Billy Hudman all of Timpson, and Vicki Huckaby of Liberty.

 

Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson announces a memorial service for 83-year old Mrs. Bobbie Anderson Brinson of Timpson. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. this evening at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel. A time of visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. preceding the service.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces service for 93-year old Odessa J. Powdrill of Garrison, Service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Garrison Funeral Home, with interment at Powdrill Cemetery in Shelby County. A visitation will be held prior to service staring at 1:30 p.m.

Garner & Son Mortuary of San Augustine announces service for 64-year old Robert E. Watts of San Augustine. He passed away at his home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at True Vine Baptist Church, with interment at Red Land Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday at Garner & Son Chapel. Among Robert E. Watts' survivors is wife, Christine Holman Watts of San Augustine; daughters, Latonya Brooks and Lycinda Watts, both of San Augustine; sons, Robert Sirell & Cheryl Watts of San Augustine and Christopher and Casandra Watts of Dallas; sisters, Edwina & Verlon Clifton of San Augustine, Dorothy & Ernest Thomas of Kountze, and Elizabeth Robinson of Ocenside, Ca.; and a brother, Charles E. Watts of Houston.

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 61-year old Lynn Renfroe of San Augustine. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wyman Roberts Chapel.

 

Laird Funeral Home of Nacogdoches announces service for 67-year old Edward Henry Vaughn of Nacogdoches. He passed away Tuesday in Houston. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home, with burial at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home. Edward Henry Vaughn grew up in Huxley and is a 1965 graduate of Joaquin High School. Among his survivors are his wife, Joan Patricia Stansel Vaughn; daughter, Susan Cavanaugh and husband, Jeff; and sisters, Bertha Lee Raymond and husband, Dean, Mildred Dillard and Joan O’Rear.
