The second annual Happenings at Shelbyville Hill Fest will be held Saturday, Oct. 18 at the top of the hill in Shelbyville, sponsored by the Shelbyville Lions Club. Anyone interested in taking part in the 42 and washer tournaments are reminded that this Saturday, Oct. 11 will be the deadline for sign-ups. Applications are also being taken for Queen of the Hill. There’s no entry fee, but contestants must be a young 50 years or older.
