San Augustine September weather stats released by Weatherman Tom Johnson

San Augustine weatherman Tom Johnson said September closed out cooler than normal in San Augustine. Johnson said there were no 100 degree days. The high for the month was 95 degrees on Sept. 11, with the low of 58 degrees on Sept. 24. As for rain, only .98 inches was recorded, with .81 on Sept. 18 being the wettest. Year-to-Date, San Augustine has had 34.36 inches of rain, which is 5.14 inches below average. Johnson stated San Augustine needs almost 18 inches of rain over the next three months to make the annual yearly rainfall.
