The San Augustine County Courthouse has some new additions to add to the outside landscape of the structure.

According to San Augustine Main Street Executive Director Tracy Cox, six new 300 pound benches have been placed at the courthouse as part of the Main Street Program.

Ms. Cox says the benches were purchased through donations received by the non-profit organization, SAMS PALS, which stands for San Augustine Main Street Patrons and Loyal Supporters.
