Coping with the loss of a loved one affects all of us, some more than others. The "XYZ Homemakers Club" of Shelby County will be hosting a grief workshop during the lunch hour Thursday.

There will be a guest speaker that'll be sharing information on how to deal with losing a family member or close friend.

Texas AgriLife Extension Agent Jheri-Lynn Smith says to bring a sack lunch and listen, and there's no charge.

The workshop starts at 11:30 a.m. Thursday and will be held in the active Shelby County Courthouse in the second floor meeting room.
