In Louisiana, a gallon’s averaging $3.13, that’s six pennies cheaper than last week. Nationally, the average is $3.37, which is 17 cents less from the same time a year ago. Here at home, checking prices this morning in Center, the lowest we found was $3.16 at Wal-Mart, down seven cents in the past week.
