Lillian Street between Highway 7 West and US Highway 96 S will be closed to through traffic for the next three to four weeks to accommodate for the removal of deteriorated storm drain and culverts under the roadway that partially collapsed earlier this year. The renovation and reconstruction will only impact through traffic and all residents will have complete access to all driveways. The renovation will take roughly three weeks depending on weather and unforeseen difficulties in the removal or reinstallation of
drainage structures.
This project is being completed in conjunction with the City's annual street maintenance program which includes renovations on twenty-one streets throughout town this year. This total project should be completed before the end of the year.
