The Timpson City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. this afternoon, and among the agenda items for discussion and possible action will be solid waste contract bids; adoption of the Final Budget and Tax Rate for Fiscal Year 2014-15; and the Child Safety Seat Fee check in the amount of $583.88 to donate to the Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center.

The Timpson City Council will also discuss and possible take action on the sale of a portion of city-owned property, the former Cobb Lumber Co. land the city purchased a several months ago.
