The Shelbyville ISD Board of Trustees has wasted no time is addressing the possibility of athletic turf at Dragon Stadium, again.

Superintendent Dr. Ray West told Center Broadcasting last week the item may come up for board approval within a couple of weeks, well, that time frame closed quickly as Hellas Construction will make a presentation to the Shelbyville ISD Board in a special called meeting at 12 noon Thursday.

The trustees are expected to consider for approval the athletic turf project at that meeting. 

The turf issue was first discussed by the Shelbyville ISD Board of Trustees earlier this year, with no decision made.
