In conjunction with National Child Passenger Safety Week, DPS in Nacogdoches is offering a free car seat check-up from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. this afternoon, Tuesday at the Brookshire Brothers on South Street in Nacogdoches. Car seats will be provided at no charge to those that stop by the event whose seat may be improper, or to those that can't afford a proper child seat.
