State Rep. Chris Paddie will be in Center today as part of his district-wide meetings with constituents in House District 9 to discuss the upcoming legislative session.

Rep. Paddie will address a joint luncheon meeting at the Windham Civic Center with the Center Noon Lions Club, Center Rotary Club and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will start at 11:30 a.m. today, with lunch served at 11:45, and Rep. Paddie to speak at 12:15 p.m.

Rep. Paddie will conclude his district tour this afternoon in Hemphill.

He said he was "looking forward to hearing from as many citizens and elected officials as possible as he begins to prepare for the 84th Legislature in January.

Rep. Paddie added, "Input from neighbors and community leaders are crucial for him to be able to effectively represent the community in Austin."
