San Augustine County Chamber's Civic Auction to feature firearms, trips, getaways, etc.

The San Augustine County Chamber of Commerce will have their 12th annual Civic Auction this Saturday night with the theme, "Guns and Glitter". Lorei Choate is civic auction chairperson, and says this is the chamber's biggest fundraiser of the year, and goes to assist with efforts in promoting San Augustine. She says some of the fun will include a live and silent auction, raffle items and a number of other games.

There will be guns, charcoal grills, getaways to Crystal Beach, and fishing and hunting trips. She says they’ll have a live auction, silent auction, raffle items, a number of different games they’ll be playing, including “Hi-Lo”, “Pick of the Litter”, and “Early Bird Special” tickets that can be purchased at the chamber office until 5 p.m. Friday. She says for $75 you get 40 raffle tickets, and buying early you have a chance to win a drawing for a charcoal grill.

She adds “Early Bird Special” tickets can be purchased at the chamber office until 5 p.m. Friday, which gets you 40 raffle tickets and a chance to win a drawing for a charcoal grill.
