State Rep. Chris Paddie is holding meetings across Texas House Dist. 9 this week discussing the upcoming legislative session.

Rep. Paddie will be in Center Wednesday for a joint luncheon meeting at the Windham Civic Center with the Center Noon Lions Club, Center Rotary Club and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will start at 11:30 a.m., with lunch served at 11:45, and Rep. Paddie to speak at 12:15 p.m.

Meetings around Dist. 9 started yesterday in Marshall and Carthage, with today in Atlanta and Jefferson. Rep. Paddie will conclude his district tour Wednesday afternoon in Hemphill after his stop in Center.

Rep. Paddie said, He was "looking forward to hearing from as many citizens and elected officials as possible as we begin to prepare for the 84th Legislature in January. Rep. Paddie added, "Input from neighbors and community leaders are crucial for him to be able to effectively represent the community in Austin."
