Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group from the Huxley Community is holding a food pantry for Shelby County residents each month on the Saturday following the second Wednesday of the month. Identification, current proof of residency and proof of income is required for new enrollment. Every recipient of food must present a valid ID (must have a note with ID if picking up food for someone else). Only one box per household will be given. The next food pantry is this Saturday, Sept. 13 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 901 Southview Circle in Center beginning at 8:30 a.m.
