Shelby County Commissioners' Court expected to adopt new Budget, Tax Rate this morning, renew ambulance service agreement with ACE EMS

The Shelby County Commissioners' Court will have a regular meeting at 9:30 this morning with a busy agenda.

 

Commissioners are expected to adopt the proposed Shelby County Budget for Fiscal Year 2014-15 and new Tax Rate; discuss and possibly take action on renewing Emergency Ambulance Service Exclusive Agreement between ACE EMS and Shelby County through the end of the year; moving County Road 4484; and distribution of the Child Safety Fee.

 

In addition, approving the county auditor to conduct audit of DA Forfeiture/Seizure funds per code; approving Axley & Rode to conduct the FY 2013-14 Audit for the county with a letter of understanding; approving sheriff and constable fees effective Jan. 1; and approve to advertise for bids on gravel, tires, fuel and custodial services for the county.

 

Colleen Doggett is to address the court concerning having the floors in the 1885 Historic Courthouse Courtroom refurbished. Commissioners may possibly take action if they see fit.
